A BRIEF HISTORY
- in 1993. Ivan & Majda Nemeš founded Meridijan Charter, one of the first Croatian charter companies
- over the years our business has grown to 60 boats & 3 bases in Croatia
- Meridijan was sold to a Czech company in 2017.
- at the end of 2018. ex-Meridijan team created a specialised charter agency

HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our story began in a small town, far away from the sea with one small wooden boat (Van de Stadt) that was built in a garage. Sailing on a small artificial lake was an instant success and the boat found a new owner very quickly.
Then one almost completely burned boat arrived to our workshop. After it was completely restored and serviced, it was ready for our first charter business.
Despite the rough times, many boats followed and our craft was slowly taking its shape.
With a lot of storms and disasters on our way, we barely managed to stay afloat, but our dream always stayed over the surface.
In 2017. we had to sell our dream company and after a short farewell we are now ready to set sails toward new horizons.
With 30 years of experience in this business we still have the need to grow, discover and learn new things every day so we can improve ourselves and our services.
Over the years we have met many people from all over the world, and many of them became our dear friends. They will always be a part of our family, no matter what our company name is.
