Island of Iž

Iž is an island in Zadar Archipelago, situated between islands Ugljan and Dugi otok, about an hour boat ride away from Zadar. Since the island is surrounded by 10 islets, in the vicinity of Nature park Telascica and National park Kornati, it is the perfect place for sailing and boating.
Two biggest towns are Veli Iž and Mali Iž. The island is very popular for its beaches, camp sites and biking trails.

Marina Veli Iž is situated in centre of the town Veli Iž, it is opened throughout the year and it offers mooring, electricity, water and sanitary facilities.

Iška kraljica/Queen of Iž

Iška kraljica is a great outdoor ski experience, held in a small town of Veli Iž on the island of Iž. Since there is no snow on the island, 80 tons of snow are transferred from the mountains of Lika by trucks and a ferry boat. All the locals are helping to create a 70 meters long downhill trail amongst narrow streets of lovely fisherman’s town Veli Iž. This is a third time the race will be held in the very centre of the town, followed by many festivities. Don’t miss the main fešta after the race. There will be local food and drinks on spot mixed with a nice music show.

Our sail boats Dišpet, Mirna and Lucija are equipped with solar panels and webasto heating that will keep you warm so you can also drop an anchor wherever you desire.
Merry Fisher 695 has solar panels that will provide enough energy for your fridge and chargers, but in case of a cold winter night we would recommend that you spend the night in marina. We’ll provide an additional heater for 220 V that you can use while staying in the marina.
